The Sweetbay Gift Card is simple to use. Upon swiping at the register, it deducts the order amount from the card. You can use it to purchase merchandise at any Sweetbay Supermarket.
Can anyone use my Sweetbay Gift Card?
Yes. Treat the card as you would treat cash. You may use it yourself, or give it to anyone you choose.
Are Sweetbay Gift Cards sold in specific denominations?
By phone, you may purchase a Sweetbay Gift Card for any amount up to $500.00 per card. If you are purchasing cards online, you will need to choose a specific denomination.
Where are Sweetbay Gift Cards sold?
In-store - Sweetbay gift cards can be purchased at any Sweetbay store.

Are there any restrictions on what I can purchase with my Sweetbay Gift Card?
You may purchase any merchandise in our store, however, you may not use the card to purchase Money Orders, Money Transfer Services, any type of Gift Cards, pay Utility Bills, or pay for Returned Checks. We also have a special gift card available that specifically excludes the purchase of alcohol and tobacco.
What happens when all the card value is used? Should I throw the card away?
As long as there are funds on the card it can be used as often as you like. Once you run out of funds you may add additional funds to the Gift Card at any Sweetbay location or by calling the Gift Card Sales Line at 1-888-646-2577.
Does the Sweetbay Gift Card ever expire?
No. The Sweetbay Gift Card never expires.
Am I restricted to using my Sweetbay Gift Card only at the location of purchase?
No. The Sweetbay Gift Card can be used in any Sweetbay location and is also accepted at Hannaford Supermarkets in New England and New York.
Does the Sweetbay Gift Card have a Dormancy or Service Fee?
No. Sweetbay does not charge any fees.
Can I receive cash back on funds I have placed in my Sweetbay Gift Card?
Sweetbay Gift Cards may be redeemed for merchandise only and may not be redeemed for cash, unless required by law.
I lost my Sweetbay Gift Card, but I have the Sweetbay Gift Card number / Gift Card Receipt. Can you cancel or replace the card?
Because the Sweetbay Gift Card is just like cash, generally if the card is lost, we are unable to cancel or replace it. However, if you retained your receipts, please call the Gift Card Sales Line at 1-888-646-2577.
I own a business and I would like to purchase Sweetbay Gift Cards for my customers and employees. Do you sell Sweetbay Gift Cards to businesses?

Yes we do have special Sweetbay gift cards that specifically exclude the purchase of alcohol and tobacco.
