Eddie Garcia is vice president of Retail Operations for Sweetbay Supermarket responsible for guiding future development of the 72-store chain and serving as the lead retail officer, responsible for driving the value of the Sweetbay shopping experience.

With more than 30 years in the supermarket industry, Eddie is a proven leader that sees a strong connection between the store leadership team and neighboring organizations that lend to building trusted community partnerships. His openness and organizational point of view with regard to cross-company collaboration make him a proven mentor to members of his team.

As an integral member of the team that launched Sweetbay in Florida, Eddie created the vision for the company and provided leadership and guidance for the new brand.

Eddie is a former board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tampa Bay and the Tampa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
