CommunityOne of the great things about being a neighborhood supermarket is having the ability to help support and strengthen the communities we live, work, and do business in. Sweetbay supports giving back to the communities we serve and supporting organizations and events that are close to the hearts of our customers, both through charitable donations and through in–store fundraising events.

We're committed to the communities in which we do business, dedicating time and resources to support the groups and organizations that enrich all our lives. Each year, Sweetbay donates nearly 10 million pounds of groceries to hunger-relief programs as well as charitable donations and sponsorships – funds that go directly to programs that help families and children. And that's not to mention the time and money donated individually by our associates.

Just a few of the ways Sweetbay helps our communities.

Although we directly support many great local organizations, out of respect for our customers, we do not permit solicitation activities on its premises by outside contract vendors, charitable, community, civic, political, union, or fundraising groups, by associates or other persons.
