Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience and financial need. Financial need as calculated by the institution must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.

Efforts will be made to ensure that recipients are representative of all areas of the company. All other criteria being equal, preference will be given first to associates, then to their children. Although Sweetbay establishes the criteria, the institution makes final selection of recipients. In no instance does any officer or associate of Sweetbay play a part in the selection. Applicants will be notified in July whether or not they have been selected to receive an award.

Payment of Scholarships
Financial award is deposited into a student account through the institution.

Obligations
Recipients have no obligation to Sweetbay. They are, however, required to notify the institution of any changes of address, school enrollment or other relevant information. Except as described in this brochure, no obligation is assumed by Sweetbay.

Revisions
Sweetbay reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make any changes at any time including termination of the program.
