Making A Gingerbread House

Step-by-Step Instructions
Before you Begin:
Make a base to set your gingerbread house on. Use a large cutting board (approximately 9" X 13"), tray or piece of plywood and cover it with aluminum foil.
Icing: Follow the directions on the back of the box.
Step 1.
Apply your icing along the bottom edge of the back wall and stand up near back of the base.
Step 2.
Apply icing along the bottom edge of the front wall and position it about 5" in front of the back wall, placing supports on the outside of the wall to hold upright or have a second person hold it in place.
Step 3.
Apply more icing along the edges of the walls and position the roof pieces against the walls. The roof pieces will be resting on the base.
Step 4.
Apply the balcony to the front wall by using the icing as glue, placing the 2 long thin pieces under the balcony for support.
Step 5.
Wait at least 15-20 minutes for the icing to set before decorating.
Step 6.
Now get creative! Use the icing as glue and using the candy decorations, decorate your gingerbread house any way that you like! he wire together.
